Studio Photograph of the Year
Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards 2022 winners announced.
The winners of the inaugural Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards 2022 have been announced at an intimate ceremony, fittingly taking place in the world-famous studios, birthplace of some of the most iconic music and studio photography of all time.
For over 40 years, we have built a deep-rooted connection with music creation, so we felt a natural gravitation towards supporting the Studio Photography category, particularly as we are fascinated with the way artists create the music we love. And while we don’t make dedicated studio monitors, our revered 800 Series Diamond are the loudspeakers of choice in some of the world’s best recording studios, including the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
In a category full of talented photographers, Jack McKain won for this exceptional shot of Pink Siifu, playing bass at DJ Harrison's famous Jellowstone Studios in Richmond, Virginia. The shot was taken during the recording of a forthcoming B. Cool-Aid x Butcher Brown collaborative album.
