Bowers & Wilkins products are designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. However, if something does go wrong with the product, B&W Group Ltd. (“Bowers & Wilkins”) warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use from the date of purchase for a period, as detailed below, except that exclusions apply in certain countries in line with the national law. During the applicable warranty period, if a valid claim is received, Bowers & Wilkins will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the product. For more information about your warranty, please see the limitations below and consult the applicable Bowers & Wilkins distributor for more detailed information. This warranty complements any national or regional law obligations of dealers or national distributors and does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

Warranty Periods

  • Five (5) years for passive loudspeakers,
  • Two (2) years for powered loudspeakers, electronics, and headphones,
  • Ninety (90) days for spare parts and accessories.

LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS

  • Is valid only for products purchased from an Authorised Bowers & Wilkins retailer or dealer.
  • Is not valid for any counterfeit products. Any product received for service that Bowers & Wilkins determines is fake or in which the serial number has been removed, altered, deleted, defaced, or made illegible will not be returned. The sale and distribution of counterfeit products is illegal.
  • Does not cover costs relating to shipping, transportation, removal of the products, or installation of the products.
  • Is only valid for the original owner. This limited warranty is not transferable.
  • Is not applicable in cases other than defects in materials and/or workmanship at the time of purchase.
  • This warranty does not apply to:
    • (a.) damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, water, fire, heat, lightning, flood, earthquake, external causes, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Bowers & Wilkins and its appointed distributors,
    • (b.) damage caused by use with other devices or equipment,
    • (c.) deterioration of components or parts due to normal wear and tear,
    • (d.) inadequate packing or shipping procedures,
    • (e.) use or operation of the product outside of the permitted or intended parameters, voltage inputs in excess of the rated maximum of the product,
    • (f.) cosmetic appearance of cabinetry not directly attributable to defect in materials or workmanship,
    • (g.) service, repair, or modification of the Product which has not been authorized or approved by Bowers & Wilkins, or
    • (h) if a serial number has been removed or defaced.
  • To the extent permitted by law, this warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral or written, statutory, express or implied. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXPRESS WARRANTY, IMPLIED WARRANTY, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AND BOWERS & WILKINS NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON OR ENTITY TO ASSUME FOR IT ANY DUTY, OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH ITS PRODUCTS. BOWERS & WILKINS HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND HAS ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL ACTS OF THIRD PARTIES. BOWERS & WILKINS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES FOR INCONVENIENCE, THE LOSS OF TIME OR USE, LOSS OF EARNINGS, COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOSS OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, OR THE LIKE. IF BOWERS & WILKINS CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL STATUTORY OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THEN TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY AND TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICE AS DETERMINED BY BOWERS & WILKINS IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION.

How to claim repairs under the warranty:

Should you have any concerns regarding the performance of your product, please use the following procedure and contact the authorized Distributor in the referenced region or country in which your product was purchased (see supported regions at this Distributors):

  • Call the Bowers & Wilkins national distributor in your country of residence*.

    • *Product submitted for warranty must contain the local compliance regulation certification or seal, otherwise, the owner will need to take the product to the territory that the product was purchased from for warranty service.

  • To validate your warranty, you will need to produce the original sales invoice from the country of residence or other proof of ownership and date of purchase.
  • For passive speakers (including custom install series), Bowers & Wilkins products are officially imported by appointed distributors, and products must be purchased from authorized physical or online stores, hosted in your respective country.
  • In the case where user relocates to another country, the end-user must provide properly documented relocation documents prior to requesting warranty service in a country different from that of product purchase.

How to claim repairs under the warranty:

*Product submitted for warranty must contain the local compliance regulation certification or seal, otherwise, the owner will need to take the product to the territory that the product was purchased from for warranty service.

  • Our representative will discuss your concerns. If you have a valid warranty claim and it is found necessary to return the product for repair, you may be given a Return Merchandise Authorisation. You should not return the product without the Return Merchandise Authorisation, if given.
  • To validate your warranty, you will need to produce the original sales invoice from the country of residence or other proof of ownership and date of purchase.



Guarantee of quality

Bowers & Wilkins recertified products are pre-owned products that have undergone rigorous testing to ensure they meet Bowers & Wilkins strict quality standards for both sonic performance and mechanical integrity. We back every recertified product with a two-year warranty.

Recertified products are repacked in special packaging, complete with all documentation and, where applicable, the cables that were originally shipped with the product.

On occasion, recertified products may contain minor cosmetic blemishes, and they are supplied in packaging that differs from that which you will find in stores.

  • Has undergone rigorous testing to ensure they meet Bowers & Wilkins strict quality standards for both sonic performance and mechanical integrity.
  • Is refurbished with replacement parts for any defective modules identified in testing.
  • Is put through a thorough cleaning process and inspection.
  • Is supplied with complete documentation.
  • Is supplied with two-year warranty.
  • Where applicable is supplied with cables.
  • Where applicable is supplied with remote control.
  • Where applicable are supplied with new ear cushions.
  • Where applicable firmware is updated to the latest version.
  • Comes in white recertified product packaging.
  • May have minor cosmetic blemishes.
